Manages tasks across human and AI agents using a structured Markdown file called TICK.md. Tasks, assignments, priorities, and history are stored locally in Git without requiring cloud services. Both a CLI and MCP tools are supported for creating, claiming, and tracking work.
Keeps task coordination local and Git-tracked without requiring a cloud project management tool or external shared service.
When to Use It
- Breaking a feature request into subtasks with dependency ordering
- Checking which agents are actively working on open tasks
- Adding progress notes to a task mid-refactor
- Reopening a prematurely completed task and re-blocking dependents
- Running a batch of task updates in a single Git commit
