Spend Pulse tracks credit card spending against a monthly budget using Plaid transaction data. It uses last month's actual spend curve to pace alerts, so early-month bills don't trigger false alarms. Run it on a schedule to get alerts only when something worth knowing has happened.
Pacing against last month's actual spend curve instead of a linear ramp eliminates false alerts from recurring early-month charges like rent or subscriptions.
When to Use It
- Checking if you're on pace mid-month before a big purchase
- Getting a daily spending summary with a visual chart attached
- Reviewing which merchants drove a spike in weekly spending
- Setting up an automated alert when remaining budget drops below $500
- Comparing this month's cumulative spend curve against last month
