What This Skill Does

WindSensei checks wind and weather conditions for kitesurfing, wingfoiling, and surfing. It queries forecasts, finds nearby spots, and surfaces session history and live activity from followed riders. Works without an account for public spot lookups, with more features available via API key.

It combines real weather station data with model forecasts and personal activity preferences into a single answer, rather than making you interpret raw meteorological data yourself.

When to Use It

  • Checking if Cherry Beach has good wind before driving out
  • Finding the best kite spot near your current location this weekend
  • Seeing which friends are on the water right now
  • Reviewing how many sessions you logged this month by activity
  • Blocking off calendar time when a forecast looks good
